On Elista FIDE Office

Today, 17 December at the Meeting Hall of the Organizing Committee of the Elista tournament of the FIDE Grand Prix series 2008-2009 the Head of Kalmykia and the President of  FIDE held a working meeting together with the Executive Director of FIDE David Jarrett and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee  of the tournament Valery Bovaev. During the meeting they discussed the questions about the upgrading of the facilities of the Elista FIDE office. There was a particular statement that one of the main FIDE offices should be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment as new technologies are rapidly introduced to chess tournament organization.
