The 3rd tournament of the FIDE Grand Prix series 2008-2009 aroused much interest among the chess fans from all over the world. According to one of the leading analytical sites – Google, on the first day of the tournament there were over 10 000 hits from 104 countries on the official web site of the tournament . This is one of the best results compared to the preceding tournaments of the FIDE Grand Prix series held in Baku and Sochi.
